SilverBullet

SilverBullet^® is a software reverse engineering tool which can be used to:

Examine the detailed architecture of software systems.
Document in detail the high-level and detailed design of the software.
Determine various metrics of the software being analysed.

SilverBullet has been designed, in particular, to produce large diagrams of the software, so that the overall architecture of the software as well as the details of the various calls and data-flows in the system can be clearly seen.

SilverBullet provides both a Windows-based graphical user interface as well as document output, enabling the user to either:

browse the design details within the SilverBullet application; or
auto-generate a design document, e.g. a Software Design Description (SDD) and/or System/Sub-system Design Description (SSDD), containing the details of the software and system design.

Development History

SilverBullet has been under development for a number of years. Arian Systems was formed to further develop and promote the use of the tool within other companies.
