Who we are

Arian Systems is a small proprietary company registered in Australia.

Our experience

With an employee background in major defence/commercial and aerospace projects, we have seen firsthand the challenges facing systems and software engineers on projects of all scales, including:

• code out-of-step with documention
• undocumented legacy systems
• employee turnover and loss of knowledge
• poor change management and lack of traceability

We are now dedicated to promoting the use of software reverse engineering as a means to solve some of the problems of systems software understanding in today's high tech era, where complex software systems have become the norm.

Our roots

In 1991, in his spare time, company founder Gary Jackson began working on a tool to address certain system design issues - but found, like in all major software projects, that as his source code became larger and more complex, a clear view of the software was essential to ongoing development.

As a result, he began developing a graphical tool to analyse his original project. Eventually this tool took on a life of its own, and became SilverBullet^®.

In 2004, Arian Systems was formed.
